Improvisation of Smart Home Automation Technology Using Hybrid Sources

This Project is a cost-efficient & reliable Hybrid Smart Home Automation (HSHA) system for controlling as well as monitoring the entire loads connected to the HSHA system. Wireless controlling of the system with real-time monitoring of the loads is done using a smartphone via a SMART HOME Android Application designed in MIT APP INVENTOR. The Application has features such as password protection, availability of different modes of operation, real-time power monitoring of the entire system, and controlling the loads using switch or voice control. An android based controller circuit is built which serves as an intermediate platform between the user and the relay system. Bluetooth module is used for wireless communication due to its flexibility and relays for quick and methodical control of loads. A real-time prototype of the proposed system is designed for a 1kilo-watt household and the results are presented for different types of loads with different operating modes on SMART HOME Application.
